Students with an interest in Chemistry at University of Maryland, Baltimore County also have the option of the inter-departmental programs in biochemistry, molecular and cell biology and toxicology.
Program Structure:
Extensive infrastructure is available for innovative graduate student research, which includes state-of-art NMR, mass spectrometry, optical and electron imaging, as well as computational facilities.
Our Faculty, together with affiliated programs, such as the Meyerhoff Graduate Program and the Chemistry-Biochemistry Interface Program, assure outstanding scientific and professional training for our students. We have established collaborations with several academic and government institutions, including UMB Medical and Pharmacy Schools, NIH, NIST, and ARL, that provide further opportunities to expand students’ expertise.
